When there is no requirement in the design, there should be a channel around the foam tank to meet the maintenance needs, its width should not be less than 0.7m, and the operating surface should not be less than 1.5m; when the height of the control valve on the foam tank is greater than 1.8m from the ground, An operating platform should be as provided at the operating surface.

2. The on-site production, installation, and anticorrosion of atmospheric pressure foam tanks shall comply with the following regulations:

① For the atmospheric pressure steel foam liquid tank manufactured on-site, the distance between the liquid suction port of the foam liquid pipeline and the bottom surface of the foam liquid tank should not be less than 0.15m and should be made into a trumpet shape.

② Leakage test shall be as carried out on the atmospheric pressure steel foam liquid tank manufactured on site. The test pressure shall be the static pressure after the tank filled with water. The test time shall not be less than 30 minutes, and there shall be no leakage by visual inspection.

③ The inner and outer surfaces of the atmospheric pressure steel foam liquid tank manufactured on site shall be anti-corrosion according to the design requirements. And shall be as carried out after passing the tightness test.

④ The anticorrosion of the contact parts between the tank body and the support of the atmospheric pressure steel foam liquid tank shall meet the design requirements.

⑤ The installation method of the normal pressure foam liquid tank should meet the design requirements. If there is no design requirement, it should be as installed vertically or horizontally on the bracket or support according to its shape. Piping and accessories for tank soil.

3. When installing the pressure foam liquid tank, the bracket should be as firmly fixed to the foundation. And the piping and accessories should not be disassembled or damaged; the safety valve outlet of the tank should not face the operating surface.

4. The installation of foam liquid tanks located outdoors should meet the design requirements, and measures such as sun protection, antifreeze, and anticorrosion should be taken according to environmental conditions.

5. The installation of the foam proportional mixing device should meet the following requirements:

①The marking direction of the foam proportional mixing device should be consistent with the direction of liquid flow.

②The installation of the connection between the foam proportional mixing device and the pipeline should be tight.

6. The pressure-type proportional mixing device should be installed as a whole and should be firmly fixed to the foundation.

7. The installation of a balanced proportional mixing device should meet the following requirements:

① The installation of the balance valve in the balanced proportional mixing device should meet the design and product requirements, and pressure gauges should be installed on the pipelines of water and foam liquid inlets respectively. The distance between the pressure gauge and the inlet of the proportional mixer in the device should not be greater than 0.3 m.

②The installation of the foam liquid pump of the hydraulically driven balanced proportional mixing device should meet the design and product requirements, and the installation size and pipe connection method should meet the design requirements.

Dry powder tank and nitrogen cylinder set

When installed outdoors, the dry powder tank and nitrogen cylinder group should be equipped with protective facilities such as sun protection and rain protection according to the environmental conditions.

The installation position and height of the dry powder tank and nitrogen cylinder group should meet the design requirements. When there is no requirement in the design, there should be a channel around the dry powder tank and nitrogen cylinder group to meet the maintenance needs, and its width should not be less than 0.7m, and the operating surface should not be less than 1.5m.

When installing the nitrogen cylinder group, prevent the is the injection of nitrogen gas.

Anti-corrosion treatment measures should be taken for the connecting pipes in the dry powder tank and the nitrogen cylinder group that need to be fabricated on-site.

The brackets of the dry powder tank and the nitrogen cylinder group should be firmly fixed, and anti-corrosion treatment measures should be taken.

Fire pump set

1.The fire pump unit should be installed on the foundation as a whole and fixed firmly.

2.The installation of the suction pipe and its accessories shall meet the following requirements:

①The installation of the filter device at the inlet of the suction pipe shall meet the design requirements. When the fire pump unit directly takes seawater, the suction pipe shall be provided with an effective device for preventing sea organisms from adhering.

②The control valve on the suction pipe should be installed after the fire pump set is fixed on the foundation. Its diameter should not be smaller than the diameter of the water suction port of the fire pump set. And butterfly valves without reliable locking devices should not be used.

③A flexible connecting pipe should be added to the suction pipe of the fire pump group.

④There should be no airbag and air leakage on the suction pipe section. For variable diameter connections, eccentric reducing pipe fittings should be as used and pipe top butt joints should be as used.

3. When the fire pump unit is as driven by an internal combustion engine, the drain pipe of the internal combustion engine cooler should lead to drainage facilities.

4. The installation of the exhaust pipe of the fire pump group driven by the internal combustion engine should meet the design requirements. When there is no design regulation, it should be as connected with steel pipes of the same diameter and lead to the outside. Heat insulation measures should be as taken on the outside of the exhaust pipe.

5. After the foundation of the fire pump unit is as fixed. And the inlet and outlet pipes are as installed. Then re-check the coaxially of the coupling.

Pipes and valves

The installation of the pipeline should meet the following requirements:

①When installing horizontal pipelines, the slope and aspect should meet the design requirements, and the slope should not be less than the design value. When U-shaped pipes appear, there should be venting measures.

②The standpipe shall be as fixed on the support with pipe clips. And the distance between them shall not be greater than the design value.

③The installation of buried pipelines shall meet the following requirements:

1) The foundation of the buried pipeline shall meet the design requirements;

2) The buried pipeline should be anti-corrosion before installation. And the anti-corrosion layer should not be as damaged during installation;

3) When the buried pipeline welded. The welded seam should be as treated with anti-corrosion treatment after passing the pressure test;

4) Before backfilling, buried pipelines should be as checked and accepted for concealed works. After passing the inspection, they should be as backfilled in time and compacted in layers.

④The installation of pipe supports and hangers should be flat and firm. The masonry of pipe piers should be regular, and the spacing should meet the design requirements.

⑤ When the pipeline passes through the fire embankment, firewall, or floor, the casing should be as installed. The length of the casing through the fire dike and firewall should not be less than the thickness of the fire dike and the firewall. The length of the casing through the floor should be 50mm higher than the floor. And the bottom should be equal to the bottom of the floor; The gap between the pipe and the casing should consider to seal with fireproof materials. The pipeline should avoid passing through the deformation joints of the building. And protective measures should be as taken when it must pass through.

⑥When the standpipe is as connected with the above-ground horizontal pipeline or buried pipeline with a metal hose, the braided mesh shall not be as damaged. And the pipe support or pipe pier shall be as set at the connection between the metal hose and the above-ground horizontal pipeline.

⑦ The distance between the rust cleaning port set at the lower end of the standpipe and the ground should be 0.3-0.5m; The rust cleaning port can be as blocked by a gate valve or a blind plate; When a gate valve is as used, it should be as installed vertically.

⑧ The setting of flushing and venting pipelines shall meet the design requirements. And if there is no design requirement, it shall be as set at the lowest point of the foam liquid pipeline.

The installation of the valve shall comply with the following regulations:

1. The valve should be as installed according to relevant standards, and there should be obvious opening and closing signs.

2. The installation of valves with remote control and automatic control functions should meet the design requirements; When installed in an environment with explosion and fire hazards, it should meet the current national standards

3. The automatic exhaust valve should be as installed vertically after the system pressure test and flushing pass.

4. The installation height of the control valve installed on the pipeline should be 1.1-1.5m; When the installation height of the control valve is greater than 1.8m, an operation platform should be as installed.

5. The return pipe with the control valve set on the outlet pipe of the fire pump group should meet the design requirements. And the installation height of the control valve should be 0.6-1.2m from the ground.

Fire turret

1. The ground base for installing the fire turret should be stable, and the reinforced concrete base should have sufficient maintenance time after construction.

2. The connection between the fire turret and the ground base should be as fixed and reliable.

3. There should be enough space for the hoisting and positioning of the fire turret. And the fire turret must not collide with surrounding structures during the lifting process.

4. Corresponding anti-corrosion measures should be as taken after the fire turret is as installed.

5. The fire turret should be as grounded for lightning protection, and the construction should comply with current industry standards
